5 Pillars Of Islam In English

5 Pillars Of Islam In English - The Five Pillars of Islam (Arabic: أركان الإسلام Arkan al-Islam; or أركان الدين Arkan al-din; "pillars of religion") are five basic actions in Islam, is regarded as the foundation mandatory for people of faith and the foundation of Muslim life. All of the pillars were found in the hadith Jibril.
There are five pillars of Islam. Its contents are as contained in the hadith of Abdullah ibn Umar Allaah 'anhuma, that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
بني الإسلام على خمس شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة والحج وصوم رمضان

"Islam is built on five cases, namely: the creed that there is no god who has the right to be worshiped but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah, establishing prayers, practice regular charity, pilgrimage, and fasting Ramadan." [Reported by al-Bukhari (8) and Muslim (16)]
Radiallahu of Ibn Umar 'anhuma, from the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, he said: "Islam is built on five (milestones) ,: mentauhidkan (Oneness) of Allah, upholding the prayers, paying zakat, fasting Ramadan, and a pilgrim". A man said: "Hajj and fasting Ramadan," then Ibn Umar said: "No, fasting Ramadan and Hajj, so I have heard from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam". [HR. Muslim, no. (16) -19]
Ibn Umar radi 'anhuma, from the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, he said: "Islam is built on five (milestones): worship God and deny (worship) to much more, upholding the prayer, pay zakat, hajj and Ramadan fasting" , [Reported by Muslim, no. (16) -20].

five Pillars of Islam

Shahada: say the statement is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of God.
Salat: observe prayer five times a day.

Hajj: go to worship to Mecca, at least once in a lifetime for those who are able.
5 Pillars Of Islam

5 PILLARS OF ISLAM

Pillars of One : shahadah

The first pillar is the shahadah, namely:
أشهد ان لا اله إلا الله و اشهد ان محمد عبده رسوله
"I testify that there is no god except Allaah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Apostle."

Two sentences shahada is very great, is the key to heaven [HR. Muslim (149) from Ubadah bin Saamit]. Shahada is a testament of distinguishing between Muslims and unbelievers, whoever pronounce it unclean lives, property, and honor [As the hadith of Ibn Umar, Bukhari (25) and Muslim (22)]. So actually what the meaning contained in these two sentences? And what are the important matters related thereto?

The first part, creed "an laa ilaha illa Allah". Its meaning is "There is no god except Allaah, the Exalted." He said,

"Allah bears witness that there is no god but God (worthy of worship), who establishes justice. The Angels and the people of knowledge (also stated such). There is no god but God (worthy of worship), the Mighty, the Wise. "(Surah Al 'Imran: 18)

Pillars of Two: Salat Prayer

Salah is one of the most important pillars of Islam after the creed. Inside Salah collected such a wide variety of worship, dhikrullah, reading al Qur'an, standing, bowing, prostrating before God, pray to Him, beads, Takbir and others. Salah is the parent of worship badaniyah. When God was about to bring down the Shari'a prayer He memi'rajkan his Prophet to heaven [Bukhari (349), Muslim (162)], it is different from other on Islamic Shari'a.
In language prayers means "pray". As word of Allah Ta'ala,

And mendo'alah for them. Surely prayer you that (a) peace for their souls. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing. (QS, at Tawbah: 103)

By the term means, "certain words and deeds that begins with Takbeer and ends with the greeting". Legal prayer is obligatory based al Qur'an and Sunnah and ijma 'of the Muslims. There are so many verses in the Qur'an which indicates about it. One of them is the word of Allah Ta'ala,

Indeed, the prayer is fard timed over those who believe. (QS, an Nisa: 103).

The virtue of prayer
Prayer is the practice that was first brought to account in the hereafter and be the size of the goodness of deeds of others. From Abdullah bin Qarth Allaah anhu that the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said,

"Charitable worship the first that will be judged by Allah on the Day of Judgment is prayer, if prayer is good then let the whole deeds else and if prayer is damaged then corrupted the whole deeds else [HR Thabrani, classed as saheeh by Shaykh Albani].

Prayer is the difference between a Muslim and a Kafir. From Jabir bin Abdullah Allaah anhu that the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said,

"Between man and shirk and disbelief is abandoning prayer" [Reported by Muslim].
Because prayer is a difference between Muslims and unbelievers then some scholars argue that people who leave the prayer because of shrugged it off or being lazy then convicted infidels.

There are still many other virtues such prayer: prayer is prevented from indecency and evil [Surah Al-Ankabut: 45], pray on time is the practice of the most loved by Allah [Bukhari and Muslim]. Because prayer has the virtue of being so great then let us strive to always keep our prayers. Allah ta'ala says,

Keep all the prayers (mu), and (guard) prayer wusthaa. Stand up for God (in your prayers) with humility '. (Surat al-Baqara; 238).

Surely those who establish prayer is the one who founded the religion of Islam in his buildings. The Prophet said,

"Principal affair is Islam, its pillars is prayer, and its peak is jihad." [Tirmidhi]

Instead, lest we become people who neglect prayer so did not get the virtues of prayer so great. Indeed losers those who neglect the prayer. Allah says,

So woe to those who pray, (that) those who are neglectful of their prayers. (Surah Al Ma'uun: 4-5)

Third Pillars: Zakat

The next pillar of Islam is zakat. In the Qur'an Allah unite between prayer and zakat in 82 places. Among the good word of Allah Ta'ala,

And steadfast in prayer, pay the poor due, and ruku'lah with those who bow. (QS. Al-Baqarah: 43)

So it is not surprising Abu Bakr as-Siddiq said, "I'm really going to fight those who separate between prayer and zakat" [Bukhari (1399), Muslim (20)].

Zakat is prescribed starting in the second hijriah.Kaum Muslims also have ijma 'of the obligation to menunaikannya.Zakat contained a lot of benefits and rewards, including treasure and purify the soul, teaches compassion and concern for fellow human beings, and much more. Allah says,

Take alms of their wealth, the charity that you cleanse and purify them and berdo'alah to them. (QS. At Tawbah: 103)

Called the 'zakat' because he sanctify life and property. Zakat is not prejudicial to the mengelurkannya. The Prophet said, "It is not going to reduce property Sadaqah" [Muslim (2588) from his friend Abu Hurairah]. By the term means "The right to property shall be limited, for certain groups, and (issued) at a certain time" [Mulakhos Fiqiyah (1/233)]

A mandatory requirement of zakat:
1. Freedom
2. Muslim
3. Have nishab. Nishab meaning here is the size or the lower limit set by syar'iat (religion) as a guideline to determine liability issue a zakat to those who have it, if it had been up at that size. Will be explained in more detail on any kind of charity.

4. Held perfect

5. It was through haulnya for treasure. Who will Zakat Harta have berjalanselama one year (haul) calculated from the day the ownership nishab. Excluded from this, namely zakat and fruit farming. Because zakat agriculture and fruit when the harvest is taken. Similarly zakat artifacts (rikaz) which was taken when found.

Fourth Pillar: Fasting Saum Ramadan

Ramadan fasting is one of the pillars of Islam. Fasting Ramadan is obligatory on the arguments from the Qur'an and Sunnah and ijma 'of the Muslims. He said,

O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye may be righteous. (Surat al-Baqara: 183)
The definition of the language that is holding fast. In terms of Personality 'fasting is worship of Allah by refraining from eating, drinking, and cancel everything from dawn to sunset [Syarhul Mumti', 6/298].
Fasting is prescribed if it is known to have entered the month of Ramadan, both beca

Rukun Fifth: Hajj

Law of Hajj is obligatory with the agreement of the Muslims and one of the pillars of Islam and is obligatory once over the life of the people who are able and kifayah fard for Muslims each year. Among the arguments of the texts of the Qur'an is the word of Allah Ta'ala,

Doing the Hajj is a duty of man to God, that is (for) people who can take a trip to the House. (Surah Al 'Imran: 97)

The proposition of the Sunnah, the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi respectfully said, Islam is built on five cases: the Creed bawasanya give no god except Allaah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish the prayer, pay zakat, hajj, and fasting in Ramadan [ Bukhari (8), Muslim (16) of the companions of Ibn 'Umar radi' anhuma].

Hajj Mandatory Terms
Hajj are required for a person if five conditions are met: Islam, understands, baligh, independent and capable. The so-called able is the one who is able to execute both physical and material. Such as being able to drive, has enough stock to take his journey and leave sufficient income for his children, wife and anyone dependents. If you are able to treasure was not physically, such as chronic illness, the elderly or others may be represented [See Bukhari (1513) and Muslim (1334).]. And a mandatory requirement for women coupled with their mahram who accompanied him to the pilgrimage. Based on the words of the Prophet of Allaah 'alaihi respectfully, is not a woman bersafar unless accompanied by a mahram, and let a man get in (seclusion) with it unless accompanied by a mahram [Bukhari (1862), Muslim (1341)].
